One of our vets – Richard Coppack – has a Certificate in Veterinary Dermatology and 30 years experience. He is happy to see any case of skin disease in horses, including cases of itchy horses and mud fever that are not going away.
All investigations start with a horses’ history and are followed by tests such as coat brushings, samples for bacteria and fungi, blood samples, food elimination trials, skin biopsies and intra-dermal skin tests.
Typical costs range from £200 to £600 plus VAT for complete investigations.
Owners that have their horse registered with another practice can only be seen through referrals from their own vets
Would not have any other vets, all staff are friendly, caring and helpful, all vets are great at their job and also care about the horses. Excellent service, highly recommended.
A very useful warning from our friends The British Horse Society
Please give at least 24 hours notice for zone visits as they are very popular and booked on a first come first served basis
