We were very sad to say goodbye to the lovely Lara after 2 years with us. She heads off to do a residency for the next 4 years to become a medicine specialist and we wish her all the best!
So now we need to introduce our new vet Silvia Janska who some of you will have already met over the last two weeks.
She is originally from Slovakia, lived in Japan for 9 years, and has lived in the UK for the last 10 years, she qualified from The Royal Veterinary College in London, and comes to us after 2 1/2 years working in big equine hospitals down South.
Comet, her lovely ex racehorse, has made the trip up North too, and is living at Moorhouse so she can ride him after her busy days at work and hopefully compete too.
Good luck! I know Lara was very happy there and found it hard to leave.
